If you get a 'hold for authentication' message when trying to print, please hit the 'refresh' arrow icon in the pop up window, then enter your Computing ID and LawWeb password.

  1. Had this issue as of Sep. 09th, 2024. I sent an email to LawIT with the error message, and LawIT reset my account. This reset fixed the issue for me. If you are a 2L or 3L who went through a password reset, this is probably the same issue.

  2. If you have an Apple computer and are a 2L or 3L, there's a high likelihood that after you changed your password, it did not update in your printing keychain. Then, when you tried to print with the wrong password, your account was locked.
